   Dreamkiller, the 2011 Independent Artist Music Awards ROCK BAND OF THE YEAR, is a melodic rock band that fuses rock and the idea of a rock musical and targets this towards a commercial audience.  The band was founded in 2004 by professional actress/singer/model, Christy Johnson, [2010 Los Angeles Music Awards NATIONAL FEMALE VOCAL PERFORMER OF THE YEAR; 2011 Queen City Awards ROCK ARTIST OF THE YEAR: FEMALE] who has been featured in such films as "Tobe Hooper's Mortuary", "National Lampoon's Pucked" and was recently cast as Judy Hartley in the upcoming re-imagining, "Night of The Living Dead 2012".  Involved in arts her entire life, Christy holds a MA and BA in Acting.  Jim O’Gara has an impressive ability and knowledge of music that is backed up by his degrees in guitar and studio opposition.  Mark Perry and Scott Crawford are well respected songwriter- musicians that are most recognized as former members of "Absent Element" with Chris Daughtry.  Dreamkiller prides themselves on colorful lyrics that include positive themes of strength, perseverance, conquering your fears head-on, as well as pushing with no limits to accomplish your goals.
   Music from Dreamkiller has been featured in 10 different films so far, many of which have been released worldwide and have won numerous awards.  Now having played the Vans Warped Tour, winning Rock Band of The Year at the 2011 Independent Artist Awards & 2009 Carolina Music Awards, touring nationally including numerous music conferences, and releasing their full-length concept album "Sleepless Dreams" in November 2009, they're quickly defining themselves on an international level.
